Keyboard Shortcuts For SCRIPTS
What problem do you see this solving?
I want to be able to add a keyboard shortcut to access my custom scripts
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I work as a Digital tech so I have this problem every time I want to add a new capture folder
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I use normal access on the scripts menu
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
YES

Scripts? What scripts?

I have some scripts I added to my Scripts Folder, Like:
New Smart Album or Create Dodge and burn layers.
I want a keyboard shortcut so I can apply this scripts.

I mean, how are there any scripts in the first place? Did I download a demo version to my license, as I did never see a mention of such a feature?

Marcin Mrzygłocki .. Capture One supports scripting on macOS via AppleScript.

Sorry for derailing a bit, but how am I going to be convinced I'm NOT getting a subpar product, if a substantial feature is not available to a group of users I accidentally belong to?
This reflects my support for any further changes to such a feature - let's start from fixing its availability first...

Marcin Mrzygłocki .. what do you mean fix? Capture One has supported scripting on macOS only for more than a decade. This is one of the most powerful features for macOS users - automation and ability to write tools that Capture One doesn't provide. Because it depends on the Apple Event Object Model it can only be provided to macOS users.
The request to allow us to associate keyboard shortcuts with a specific script from the script menu is a legitimate request.
The desire to script Capture One on Windows is legitimate and should be submitted as a separate request.

That other request has been voted for a long time ago: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/14290086890269-Realization-of-a-scripting-interface-under-Windows
