CAI and C2PA support
CAI and C2PA initiatives are new standards for content creation attribution. It enables to see where the picture originates from (camera, AI-generated) and history of modifications. Unlike EXIF, it is hashed, encrypted and cannot be counterfeited, but can be appended (an editing software can append the information about changes made to the image).
It can serve as a proof that the image is / is not AI-generated, if it was merged from multiple images, etc.
CAI and C2PA are fresh new technologies, so only the first products supporting them start to emerge. At the moment, first camera with the support was introduced, Leica M11-P. On application side Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Firefly support it already. Anyway, wider support is expected as most camera manufacrurers are members of the initiative.
It would be great for Capture One to support this as well.

But please use the template provided (see the pinned post in this category), this is also a "new standard" which serves a good purpose...

Might become a point for the Cultural Heritage community, too!
