Mask Help Needed!
Hi
I migrated from CO 9 to 16.2.5.9 recently.
I use masks and layers frequently and noticed a lot of changes -- initially, when I tried create a cloning mask I would also get an adjustment mask, which is a nuisance.
After a month or two of practice, I have cloning, adjusting, and healing usually doing what I want.
Here's my problem:
I am on a Mac with a one-button mouse, so please answer with keyboard commands in mind.
My picture has a curvy model with 1) a tree behind part of her body 2) cloudy sky behind the model and the tree.
I want to remove the tree so there is just sky in the background.
It is not difficult to deal with the tree, using a cloning or a healing mask.
But, my hand is not nearly steady enough to get an absolutely clean curve between the cloned-in sky and her body.
So, I wanted to try magic brush or magic eraser. I've looked at a bunch of videos, but how to achieve my goal still completely eludes me. I can create a Magic Brush mask, by swiping in the colors I want in the mask. But I have been unable to figure out how to use the mask to achieve my goal -- the required keystrokes and order of operations. I'm not "getting it."
Suggestions from a Pro would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks. I am hoping there is more of a built-in way to smooth edges.
