Creating duplicates in library and finder
Hello,
I am very new to Capture, and I received an SSD from a photographer containing images and sessions he had created. When I opened the sessions with his edits on, I noticed some of the images in the session were missing (that I needed to get imported), so I re-imported some of the images, and toggled on Exclude Duplicates.
Now in the library section in C1, I can see loads of the duplicate images (with the file name being the same followed by 1), as well as them piling up in my finder filling up the SSD.
Is it safe for me to delete these new appeared duplicate file names from my finder, or will they remove all the original images from the session?
Thanks in advane and hope it makes sense

I suggest you delete the images from Capture One instead of deleting them from Finder. The reason is that Capture One will delete any sidecar files for each image file you delete. When you delete from Finder, the orphaned sidecar files will stay on the disk forever.
This won't hurt the operation of Capture One, but I think it is better to clean it up correctly.
