Filter state not saved when exiting and reloading session ?
(Latest C1 sub 16.3.1.1718 , Windows 11.)
I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm making a mistake, but when working on a session, it seldom seems to reopen with the filters in the state that I left them. For example:
1- Open session, set filters to 2 stars
2- Close session
3- Open session, filters are now set to something arbitrary that I was using earlier
If I set filters, close the catalog, verify it (Clean), and reload it, then the last filter state appears to be honoured for one open/close cycle, however subsequent closes and openings don't seem to preserve the filter state.
It's frustrating because if I have to task switch I may have a series of filters set based on the position I'm at in the workflow, and to not have it preserved on reload is ... a thing.
Is anyone else able to repro. this, or suggest what I'm doing wrong ?

In short, filters are not preserved and I made a request for them to stay for longer. You can vote to increase visibility.

Hmm, related perhaps, but that's not what I'm seeing.
When I load capture one, filters *ARE* being applied - just not always the last one I had set!For example I have just loaded a catalog that is, on load, set to be showing only 1 starred images in the filter panel. However when I closed Capture One, I was working on images tagged with a model's name.
I've just tried 3-4 times now to reproduce what I was seeing earlier, and presently it's correctly preserving the filter and image selection state (Nothing advanced, just some radio buttons in the filter panel), so who on earth knows what's happening presently. I'll work for a few more hours and if I can reproduce it again I'll see if I can detail some more specific steps!0 -
I'll do some open and close tests and see if I can spot anything via diff - since posting the issue I've only been able to reproduce it once, and alas I was trying to get something done so didn't pay it attention until it was too late!

Working on more shoots today and the filter state isn't saving on exit (Not to mention Style brush settings not getting saved either, so I had to manually amend the XML files...)
I believe the current catalog is an upgraded one, for what it's worth - whether that's a meaningful datapoint I don't know, but it resets to some arbitrary state (One filter active) regadless of the last state of the application.0
