Hello, this is a very good point. Thanks for sharing. We will let you know once we have an update for this. Have you ever tried Capture One Live when you shoot tethered? would that work for now?

Thanks! Would be an awesome addition.

I haven't tried Capture One Live, not sure if that would remedy the issue, is that on the ipad as well? what is the difference?

    Thanks!

Hello again, yes can use it both on iPhone and iPad: Capture One Live (for iPad) – Capture One. The purpose of Live is just this: to allow your team or client review the photos, comment on them or add stars/color tags, either remotely or even onsite. You just need to start the session from your iPad or iPhone and send them the link and they can open it on their device and go through the photos at their own pace, during and after the photoshoot. Take a look and please let me know what you think :)

Sounds like a good tool but might be a bit cumbersome when working live or drain more power, also it needs wifi I am guessing? The last job saw me in the deserts of Dubai and the rural infrastructure of Johannesburg. Having the Art Director running after me with the camera tethered was the best way to work but he was constantly swiping against the current pf photos coming it which in turn also used more processing power which made the ipad hot and drain battery quicker i am guessing.

luckily I run USB-C splitters with extra power banks etc to keep us really nimble in the field.

Wow! that's impressive and thanks for sharing :) Yes, indeed both of you would need internet in that case. As for battery consumption, we tested and we haven't come up with any limits or thresholds that could disrupt the photoshoot. but of course things might differ depending the hardware, usage and weather conditions.
