Not capturing images
I have recently upgraded to 16.3 and have a Canon EOS 7D tethered to my computer. I had no problems with the program for a day, then it stopped capturing images. I have gotten an error and an event that popped up.
Error: Cannot connect to the camera. Canon EOS 7D is currently busy.
Event: 101#107 General error: The resource is not open. Camera is not open.
Has anyone else had this? I did replace my cord, but doesn't seem to make any difference.

My camera is connected and I can use the remote shutter control. The shutter goes off and no image is imported in to Capture One. Nothing.

Two points: I'm not sure how tethering pertains to the forum; have you tried restarting both camera and computer, including pulling out the battery from camera for a while?

I have tried restarting, unplugging for a bit, the battery has been changed, etc, etc. Also tried resetting preferences to bring Capture One to a vanilla state. This did not help, either.

Hi, I'm not sure if this hapened after an update but it was the same for me. I have canon eos RP and tethering was working perfectly. Then, one day same error as mentioned in the first comment came up. Did you find a solutions?

Jael. We did resolve it. It had something to do with having to update the camera firmware with the latest software from Capture One.

Help please this is my issue. I am on Windows 11 with a Canon EOS R8. All firmware up to date and running newest version of C1. Have tested tether cords and all fine. I can get Live View going fine. The shutter goes and no image taken. It is hit and miss and cannot troubleshoot a solution. It will work in one session and then occasionally tells me the folder is invalid. I am saving images in my Pictures folder on my hard drive. It is making my workflow impossible.
