Can I change the directory for settings?

As I see the general settings are saved in my computer profile. Is there apossibility to save that in another directory?

    You cannot change the location of the settings.

    It is possible to symlink to another location, like on a portable drive - assuming you would always remember about having it online, otherwise ugly things will start happening.

    @..., still, there is a use case with having the same settings on several user profiles on the same machine - I consider something similar on my laptop, as I have a restricted user profile for use during "live" sessions, when I can't guarantee being the only one to access my laptop, but also would want to work from my standard profile.

    I don't want to share the settings between computers. I don't like the microsoft profile directories. I prefer to have settingds in my own directories to save them with my own backup system.
