Create new capture folders and add to favourites

There is indeed, I wrote a script a while back to do exactly that. I've got it bound to ⌃N which brings up a dialogue box where you enter the name of the new folder(s). The script then creates the folders, adds them to favorites, and sets the first one as the capture folder.

Try this. It’s code signed and stapled to allow distribution. https://shootmachine.co/2021/03/11/makefolders-for-capture-one-20/

    Hi all,

Emory... You're a wizard. I've slightly ammended your make-new-dir script. I've fumbled my way through script editor and managed to make it do the following; Paste the last copied text from the clipboard as the new directory name, and then hit enter to confirm it. A small change... but as a newb I was pretty happy. I'm using a Loupedeck Live S for Digi-Tech work so now I can copy the clients folder name from their Google Sheets page, hit two buttons and have the folder set up as needed. Happy to paste / supply that script if anyone should want it.

My question for anyone more qualified than me... Is it possible to then write a script for sharing that recently created folder online? The dream would be to have a script to share the capture folder which would allow me to copy the share link and paste onto the clients Google sheet.

My worksflow on e-com shoots means that each capture folder needs to be shared individually to the client so that they can do live selects. I'm not sure it's possible, but worth a punt. Thanks!
