Allowing Sessions on Capture One Ipad
I just wanted to open up some dialogue about possibly adding sessions to at least the ipad experience. As of now, the best way to work around this is using the EIP format, but it feels so cluttered and adds extra steps into work flows. I think if we could work from a sessions format it would...
1) Allow quick and seamless workflow between Capture One Pro (desktop) and Ipad. Consistency and organization would be improved for many.
2) Allow us to work from an external drive, thumb drive, or ssd, instead of being forced to upload all our raw files onto the internal harddrive of our ipad (really annoying for those of us with 64 gb internal storage ipads and even 128 bg)
3) May also help with tethering workflows and culling on the go.
I know that we have an option to work from an online upload experience, but that isn't always the best option, or even possible for some of us out in the field or on the go. It is also a very slow experience in comparison to just connecting our ext hard drives and immediately working on our files. By giving us access to sessions on ipad, Capture One for Ipad can really be better utilized for professionals across many genres.

Uh, yes please - very disappointed to find out that this is not the case - I've been a C1 user since an H20 digi back, went away for awhile to LR, and have been using C1 for years now - have a trip tomorrow and was hoping to just take my ipad pro and some drives with session folders on them to be able to do some editing on the road without my laptop, but I guess thats not going to happen.....

Yes, please. 100% agree with the above posts

Really need sessions on iPad, workflow is cumbersome when transferring to my editing computer. I cant export more than 400 eip images from my iPad without it crashing. It is an added step in my workflow and keeps me from using the iPad on larger shoots.

It really is mind boggling that in this day and age this needs to be a feature. The system should be able to overlap, or have a bridge to make it easy to go from one platform to the other.
