Deleting a single variant crashes the App

What problem do you see this solving?
I created a variant of one of my RAW images to try and compare a different edits. Afterwards I wanted to delete the new variant which caused the app to crash every single time I tried. Deleting both variants works fine. But recovering one variant from the recycle bin recovers both variants. So this does not work as a workaround.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Today. And now I have two variants of the same image and cannot delete it until I get rid of the image completely.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals?
