Deleting a single variant crashes the App

I created a variant of one of my RAW images to try and compare a different edit. Afterwards I wanted to delete the new variant which caused the app to crash every single time I tried. Deleting both variants works fine. But recovering one variant from the recycle bin recovers both variants. So this does not work as a workaround.
