Images from removed Favourites show up in All images smart album in Session
Capture One 16.3.3, macOS 14.2.1. In session as stated in title I can't get rid of old(removed) Favourites images. I validated session file as I thought it's some glitch in database, but verification passed without any error. I have even "?" icons from deleted files. Any one else having same issue?

I found fix. If anyone will encounter the same issue just add and remove unwanted folder again but use System folder tree instead of "+" and "-" icons in Favourites panel. It worked for me.

Another update. After closing and opening session again all images from removed Favorites appear in All Images smart album. Any ideas? Can any one confirm that before version 16.3.3 this bug wasn't present?

The images appearing in Favorites are in folders OUTSIDE the session vs in the Capture, Selects, Output session folders?

Yes. I organise my sessions with many separate sub capture folders in Capture folder and then I add them to favourites.

Have you managed to find a solution? I have the same issue and it's driving me crazy 😅

#Sabina Studzińska I started to create more session. More subject/project oriented as catalog is pretty unusable in CO. Before I had one session for all ongoing work with projects keep in folders and added as favourites. After finishing one I just moved folder with it in finder to archive, then remove favourites in CO. It caused all trouble with ghost images in "All images" smart collection. I also remove favourites in Capture One then move folders containing photos in finder. I guess session database is sensitive for every file manipulation done outside Capture One.
