Providing an automatic loup when picking colours, corners etc.

What problem do you see this solving?
When picking corners when straightening a picture or picking colours for white balance adjustments etc., it's annoying to have to zoom in and pan around every time.

Having the option to have a loup engaged automatically when about to pick anything, would do the job perfectly for me. Since a loup is included in CO, it shouldn't be too much work to implement this option.

Zoom in, pick, zoom out, pan, zoom in, pick ...
