Fuzzy tethered images
Hello
I did submit this on a ticket request a few days ago but no reply as of yet.
I downloaded the free trial to use over this weeks shoot and although the system seems great, for some reason my tethered camera shots when they come through onto capture one are very fuzzy on zoom. So I can't do my usual checks of focus etc and then when I export they remain fuzzy meaning I can't use them for their purposes.
They are clear on my camera and the tethering cable is a proper one so I don't know what I need to do to get the quality true to shot.
Please help!

Go to the camera settings for tethering and check whether you are transferring the full RAW, then check in image settings, if this is full size RAW, not a smaller version. It looks like you are sending low quality image instead of the best quality, which stays in camera.
Hard to tell more not knowing, which camera model are we talking about here, even - please include such critical details in advance.

Hello
Thank you for this. My camera is a Sony A7 IV and is set to RAW files for shooting. I will look into the tethering settings. Are they on the camera or capture one itself?

In the case of Sony and this camera, look for something in camera menu like Network -> Transfer/Remote -> PC Remote Function and scroll all options here (beware, more than one screen), especially PC Save Image Size.

Perfect thank you. I have changed an image size to original and that seems to have worked. Appreciate the help
