Are you sure that you are in a catalog and not a session?

Thanks. I accidentally created a Session.

Now I got to figure out the difference between a Session and a cataloge but good to know that the programm works fine.

    Very briefly

    SESSIONS

Useful for a limited collection of photos - for instance one assignment, one event, one months' family photos. etc.

Images are stored on your computer and edit information is stored in subfolders of the image folders.

Nice and simple to understand (I think).

    CATALOGS

Useful for a more comprehensive collection of many photos - for example a catalog of all your family photos over the last 10 years, or even all your photos over the last 10 years.

Images may be stored in folders on your computer or inside the catalog database.

Edit information is stored inside the catalog database.

Has more ways of organising large numbers of photos that  sessions do.
