Ipad Pro M2 Battery Life

I am keen to try using C1 on ipad pro m2 but have read a number of reviews about the battery life being quite short, mostly with watching movies. I am wondering if anyone can comment from real shooting situations? I plan to connect with a cable to a Canon R5.

  I have a Ipad Pro 12,9 (6 gen) And a GFX100.

  After 3 to 6 hours, depending on the temperature, the iPad's battery is empty. 

  Using and charging the iPad at the same time is difficult
