"Synchronize" does not import some jpeg or tif images

There are whole folders of jpeg or tif images which Capture One does not synchronize in the catalog when we select the folder in the Library, do right-click and select "Synchronize", although other software like Picasa has no issue importing them. How can this be solved?

    Are they images that Capture One can handle - for instance are the TIFF files greyscale or RGB?

    After checking, it is true that the images which Capture One 16.3.4.1884 does not synchronize on my machine are from special sources:

    The .jpg images are sRVB images which have been scanned from negatives by a photographer who used an "AgfaPhoto GmbH DlabVersion:DLAB1_10.00E_123k" scanner.

    The .tif are colour diapositives which I scanned with a "PlusTek OpticFilm 7200" scanner and the software "SilverFast 6.4.3r7b". Capture One imports most images obtained from this scanner, but not all.

    Aha! Known behavior. Capture One cannot process or import grayscale color space images. You must convert their color space to an RGB color space.
