When exporting multiple files to a network in almost every case other than a single export it creates temp files and in this case random extra files
Going to a qnap server will test to desktop

It might be a good idea to reach out directly to Capture One support if you haven’t already. While the volunteer community here may indeed offer insight, getting this in front of the developers will also be useful.

(1) if you want help with this you will need to provide more information - such as Mac or Windows, versions of MacOS or of Windows, version of Capture One, how is the network drive connected, is the connection fast enough? Also can you export satisfactorily to a non-network destination? - if so the problem is likely to be your network connection.
(2) It would be good to follow Ray Harrison's suggestion and submit a support case.
(3) The "Improve Capture One" topic is intended for feature requests, not problem diagnosis, so I am moving your post.
