16.3.3.6 Won't Tether R5 to Macbook Air M1 Sonoma

Everything was working fine until this latest update now my R5 is not recognized. My R6 works fine though.

I can't connect with USB or Wirelessly but only with the R5, again, the R7 works fine and is recognized

The R5 works fine on my Desktop, iPad and iPhone via USB, just not the Macbook. Air M1 (Sonoma)

The settings are all correct because as I said the R7 works fine. I have deleted the C1 program and deactivated it, reinstalled but no Joy. I am at a loss.

The R5 works fine on the Mac using the Canon app, it shoots and saves as it shood but not C1 with or without the Canon app running.

In my previous set up I was using "hot folders" but after udated, I then saw that C1 now ofers sd card and local capture so I deselected the hot folders options and and the R7 is working great but not the R5.

Thx for any insights you may have, I may just need another set of eyes.
