Latest Feb 2024 release will not open on Macbook Pro
Macbook Pro M1 with OS Sonoma 14.3
Latest version of C1 Pro crashes on startup.
Had to revert back to the Jan 2024 release, which is buggy and why I was trying to upgrade.
C'mon guys! Lets get back to a stable software!

I am running C1 16.3.5.10 on a 2021 M1 Macbook Pro with MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1. No issues at all, the Feb 2024 C1 release runs faster than ever.

I'm glad for you but I downloaded and installed twice, ran Cocktail, restarted, etc. No go! Reinstalled the previous and it opened fine.
I've got clients waiting on me, I don't have time to deal with it any further. Will have to wait for the next update.

You mention that you run MacOS Sonoma 14.3. Latest version is 14.3.1, maybe worth trying to update to the latest version. We have had strange issues with our Macs before, related to running an older version of MacOS. Just a thought...

I have the same issue with 16.3.5 however running Windows 11 Ver 23H2 build - 22631.3085
Install 16.3.5 click on the program and nothing happens, restart, fresh install by removing it and installing again. Still the same doesn't open
Install 16.3.4 works totally fine, loads up, splash screen

Matt Thomas Not sure if you've noticed but there has been further update(s) and the latest version now works for me on my Mac. Maybe try it on your windows machine if you haven't yet.

Just updated to the latest version of Capture One today (1 August '24) and have the same issue on Windows 11. Waiting on a human response at present. Previous versions launched without an issue but now I don't even have a splash screen. A second attempt to launch provides a pop-up window informing me that Capture One is already running but this is not the case according to Task Manager. Soooooooo frustrating!
