What problem do you see this solving?

I was owner of a version 12 and  use it for Sony A7R3 Raw files. The computer is still the same Mac M1 16g memory.  I just download evaluation version to test CR3 files on Capture One after a couple of days back to LR due to not supporting of CR3 files in my v12 version. The experience if not as good as expected due to a simple fact. Reaction on cursor for simple actions is much slower than before and following, fine tune is a long and bad experience. I don't know if it's because of the canon files or if the increase of the complexity of the coding of your program but I really cannot use it in professional conditions. To be sure, I took some of my old ARW files and the problem is still the same about the slow of process during moving cursor.. I was so happy using the old version as the workflow was so good that I would like to test the old 12 version with my CR3 files.
