Anyone seeing some strange, intermittent behavior with the brush tool in the latest (.5) release?

Anyone else seeing some strange behavior with the brush tool in the latest release (.5)? Sometimes the tool shows correctly on the screen with the ability to adjust the hardness (2 concentric circle), other times it's just the pointer (but it still allows you to brush)? In order to get the right icon back, you need to change the flow, or something else in the brush tool? It's an intermittent problem -sometimes there, sometimes it's fine? Windows 11, everything up to date?

    I haven't seen this (so far) in the latest release, but I have seen it at random intervals occasionally for years!

    Interesting - first time I've experienced this - annoying for sure - will see if I can narrow it down to specific "states" that are repeatable.
