    Not at all.

Back in 2019 I had seen Capture One versions 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Each year a new version number. I was expecting to see Capture One version 13 for 2020. The brilliant folks at Capture One decided to break that number sequence and go for Capture One 20, probably playing with year=20. The old version numbering was still used, kind of hidden, so we had Capture One 20 and the name Capture One version 13 lurking somewhere the background. The new sequence incremented to 21, 22 and 23 with parallell version numbers 14, 15 and 16 before someone pulled the emergency brake. Perhaps a little too much as Capture One 23 never went to Capture One 24 and Capture One version 16 never (or still not) made it to version 17.

So, that is the current status. 23 is gone, there will likely not be a 24. The parallel version is still at 16, but no longer hidden. If you want to compare Capture One 21 to newer versions, you should study release notes for Capture One 22 (v 15),  Capture One 23 (v16) or the most recent incarnation  which I believe is Capture One v16.3.5.
