Rating and color correction from old session
Hi,
I opened an old session from 2018 and upgraded the file following the message, but I don't see any star ratings and color adjustment remain raw. I opened the file from NAS (Synology) and not direct from the original external hard drive. Is this the reason why the color correction and ratings are not showing correctly?
Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Does the folder which contains your images on the NAS have a subfolder called "CaptureOne"? Beneath that there is a Settingsxxx folder which contains your edits, colors and ratings. If these folders are missing then you opened the base raw files without any adjustments.

BeO Yes, it does have CaptureOne folder with subfolders Cashe, Setting 110, Setting 120, Setting 153.

SFA It's in session, not a catalogue. In the folder of the job, I have session file, Capture folders a few other folders like in the picture.

The ratings, adjustments, etc, should be in subfolders of the ranges folders (Capture, Output, etc) like this
It's the Settings subfolder which is crucial: the Cache folder has thumbnails and previews, which Capture One can regenerate if needed.
I'm not sure what you mean by "I opened the file from NAS (Synology) and not direct from the original external hard drive." In what way did you open it "from" the NAS? Had you moved the session folder to the NAS from the original external hard drive? If so, did you move it with all its subfolders?

Yes, I see the settings under the Capture folder.
I'm opening the file form the Network, so nothing is directly connected to my laptop with a cable, I don't know if that is the reason of this bug but that's the only different thing I do. When the job is old, I keep the original external hard drive as well, but it's faster and easier to access directly from NAS. But then I'm encountering the rating and color adjustment not showing correctly.

I have never worked with an NAS myself, but I know that Capture One users have sometimes found them troublesome. I think it may be to do with the connection to the NAS not being fast enough.
