Strange preview issue
I've got a strange preview issue – the wrong preview image is displayed with tiny sections of the correct image repeated on one side. If I zoom in, the preview changes to the correct image.
I've tried verifying the catalogue, and no issues are detected. I've also tried 'regenerate previews', but it's still the same.

Restarting the computer solved the issue.

I have the same issue once every while. Started with 16.3. Pretty hard to reproduce though. Today I tried ‘regenerate preview’ as a workaround and that worked for me, which is even stranger as it didn’t for you.

I keep seeing this. Regenerating previews doesn't work here. Shutting down and reopening Capture One solves it, for a while at least, until it happens again.

I still get these preview issues regularly. Here's another one:

I got the exact same problem. Since the latest major update (as I remember). Shutting down C1 and starting It again fixes it, until it happens again and again and again.
Regenerating previews or deleting the file containing the previews or verifying the catalogue does not solve it.
I started a request, but until now the only advise was to import alle images in to a ne session or catalogue (and losing all settings?)

Support suggested that I turn off hardware acceleration:
While they usually suggest turning on or off hardware acceleration regardless of the problem, this time it seems to have helped, at least I haven't had this issue since doing so.
Regarding import. You can import an old catalogue into a new catalogue, that way you won't lose any settings.

Hello Thomas,
thanks for your response and suggestion.
I switched off hardware acceleration for display and processing, and it fixed my problem too. No issue anymore.
I'm very grateful, and back to enjoying the use of C1

Good to hear it worked for you too.

I have been working with a C1 support associate to get this resolved....so far one month of correspondence with no solution.

I haven't seen it since I turned off hardware acceleration (as mentioned above).

Me neither, after I turned off hardware acceleration.

I have both display and processing acceleration turned off and still experiencing these issues. C1 support is understaffed...responses are slow and my case is over a month old.
