Exporting modified DNG files (with the modifications) from Mobile to desktop

I am using DNG files from drone and from my (flagship) phone. I can edit them in C1 Mobile. However, it seems I can't export the edits. It does not seem to support the EIP export function (without a message or warning, it just quits the export process, bug?), adding it to an Album will only add the original DNG file. I have gone through a long and slightly intimidating helpdesk exchange were you were rather strict on why changing modifications to a DNG file was inappropriate and against the intention of DNG files. And, IMHO, you need to make a choice. Either you do not support DNG file editing or you leave your rigid ideas of what DNG stands for behind you and you start supporting DNG as another RAW format, including saving and exporting the changes made on Mobile. Or am I doing something wrong when trying to share/export a modified DNG file to C1 Desktop? The current implementation is forcing me to start moving back to LR for DNG files, something I thoroughly hate...
