Sony Alpha Creative Look

My understanding is that the Sony creative looks are applied to the jpegs. Capture One uses the RAW image. Sony's Imaging Edge seems to detect it, so it may be in the metadata somewhere.

    Hi Richard,

That metadata is exactly what I am looking for.

Once I import images into CaptureOne Pro I can obviously see that different Creative Look is applied but I cannot see which one.

    Regards

ExifReader could find it for me in a jpeg.Assume it would be the same for a jpeg from the camera.

I guess the best thing I could do is to take both RAW and JPEG at the same time then see if the info pops up in CaptureOne Pro for the JPEG. If that works I will be very happy.

    Much appreciated Richard.

Capture One shows limited metadata. Adobe Bridge has the SceneCaptureType field for RAW files.

Unfortunately I didn't. I downloaded and installed Sony's Imaging Edge Desktop, downloaded and connected both View and Edit options but Creative Look is set to Camera setting which is of no use to me. Incredibly annoying I must say. When viewing images on my camera I can see Creative Look set but why I can't view it outside of the camera is a mystery to me. If you figure it out please shout.
