Version 16.2 is supported on Sonoma 14.0 only. Newer updates to Sonoma are not supported. Version 16.3.8 is required for support of Sonoma 14.4.

    Hello Walter,

    Thank you for your answer.

But there is still a big question : I bought a perpetual license and I thought that the only thing that I will miss are the new tool. If I understand well, a perpetual license is just snap shot of the software at one time ? That's absolutely great ! I went to Capture One because I hated Adobe's way to sell their products. I guess now I'm stuck with the same process.

Anyway thank you Walter, good day to you.

    Julien

Yes, but one of the things that you get a snapshot of is the support for versions of MacOS. Having said that, are you sure that Edit All Selected Variants is checked on the Image Menu?

or you can turn that on and off with this toolbar button, too.

    Hello Ian,

I am very sorry but I do not understand what you meant by saying "you get a snapshot of is the support for versions of MacOS." So as perpetual license owner do we get support for the newest version of Mac OS or not ?

And yes,I had the "edit all selected variants" on. It was working when I migrated to my new Mac with the last version of Capture One installed on my old Mac : 16.2.2.10. A few days ago your software ask me to do an update. Now it's not working well anymore. And actually I re-copied that version of C1 and now it's not working anymore too, but it's working for keywords, yeah !

Five and three years ago I payed Final Cut Pro X and DaVinvci Resolve about the same price that I payed for Capture One... They are working awesomely great and, do I have to mention Affinity, half the price of C1 for 3...

Now what can I do to have back this feature I paid for 10 months ago ? Sell my new M3 and go back to my old one ?

But thank you Ian, for your quick response.

    A very disappointed customer,

    Julien

You do not. With a persistent license you get support for the versions of OS that are documented in the release notes of the version of Capture One you purchased.

Thank you for the clear information. Maybe it can be advertised on the website as clear as that.

"Getting a perpetual license means you get the current version of Capture One that’s available at the time of purchase and you can continue to keep using that version as long as your hardware and operating system support it. "

My hardware and operating system supports it ! It C1 that doesn't support it. That's awesome.

It could be written more clearly .. "as long as C1 continues to run on your hardware and operating system".
