I'm not sure that I fully understand the situation here.

In your video, these are not further version of the image - they are three completely different images.

Having said that, it's not clear why it would say that there are three images but only show one.

    • Does this happen only with this album, or with other albums too?
    • Presumably the images in that album are there because you dragged them into it. (In other words, it's not a "smart" album.) What happens if you delete the album, create a new one, and add the images to it again from the actual folder they are in?
    • Have you tried verifying the catalog?

So, I think the problem arose when everything was in one project folder. Simultaneously, I created variants (clone variant), which I copied into the tmp album. I did not experience the problem with the original images (the source of the variants). The issue occurred when I turned the filter on and off. I could only see the variants again if I restarted the program.

You can't move variants to another folder. There is only one raw file and it can only be in one folder. (But you can put variants in different albums - because albums are virtual collections.)

Sorry, when I wrote 'folder', I meant 'album'. I put the variants in another album, but within the same project. I corrected my previous comment.
