Problems with cloud sync
I have uploaded 800+ images to cloud but the desktop app will only download the same 16 over and over again.
iPad says they are online (2 albums uploaded manually) but the desktop app won't see them and repeatedly downloads the same files.
Can I log in on a browser and see/download files because the system clearly isn't working...

What version of desktop app? There was a known issue that was resolved in update 16.3.8 of the desktop app. See the Bug Fixes section of these release notes.

Is there any way of increasing the 1000 image limit in the upload from iPad?

I have the same issue, though I have less than 100 images on desktop. Nothing syncs to mobile. I've redownloaded the app on my iPhone and desktop more than once and both my hardware and software are the latest releases.
I also am not even able to import TIFF images from files (iOS files --> iOS app), and neither wireless nor tethered import works either....rendering the app 100% useless on all fronts and functions.
