When you create a keyword it isn't automatically selected/shown
I just wanted to hear if anyone else finds this inconvenient.
When you create a keyword, it isn't automatically selected or shown in the Keyword Library, and so, depending on its alphabetical value, you have to scroll to find it.
If you have lots of keywords, secondary keywords for instance, it would be very convenient if newly created keywords were actually shown in the Keyword Library after they had been created.

Keywords will be created automatically when applied if they don't exist already (including hierarchical keywords). For example, in the keyword tool I can type in something like "UK > England > London" or "EU > Denmark > Copenhagen" for a hierarchical location and if this doesn't exist the entire hierarchy will be created and applied to the selected images.

When you create a keyword in the Keyword Library tool, it isn't added to selected images. Apparently it only works like this in the Keyword tool.
It's a bit inconvenient having to type out the whole hierarchy though in order to add a lower-level keyword.

If the keyword already exists you can simply type its name and the keyword tool will propose the existing hierarchical instance it finds.

Thanks, but my point is that when I create a new keyword it would be convenient if this keyword was shown in the hierarchy so that I didn't have to look or search for it after creating it.
An unrelated thing I just realized is that the search function in the Keyword tool isn't case sensitive, unlike the search function in the Keyword Library tool. This seems inconsistent, but then I'd rather have one search function that isn't case sensitive than none. It would be nice though if none of them were case sensitive.
