Allow us to use Capture One Pro Subscription Offline (with no internet)

I love the idea of owning Capture One, I like the interface, and the all the things you can do with this software, as well as the fast uploads of photos when tethering to it, as opposed to the somewhat lagging of Adobe LRC.  My big turn off is not being able to use the subscriptoin software offline. I know Adobe LRC you can do this with the subscription you just need to log in now and then so they can verify you still are paying. I do a lot of on location photography and having access to the internet is not possible. I could hot spot from my phone, but it is a crap shoot if I have good data.  I hope Capture One will look into this. I mean I really like the software. I more than likely will still get the subscription even with this minor inconvenience. 

I guess i could by the peripheral standalone, but....I don't what to keep paying for upgrades.

    I used Capture One offline so many times that I don’t understand how it is possible you can’t. I even checked it right now with my MacBook WiFi turned off and everything is fine.

    I think license activation and a periodic check-in are the only times it requires internet connectivity to "phone home". I could be wrong.

    This is my understanding how it should work. Most subscription software require at least one connection every 30 days.

    This is what i was told by them when I asked. If it isnt true and i can work off line if i have the subscription (not the peripheral license) i find it odd everyone here says they have no problem. But capture one says you cant do it..

    I'm afraid an active internet connection is constantly needed, the software wouldn't launch in an offline environment.

    That’s weird. I can assure you that I use my MacBook almost everyday without internet connection. I have even try it before posting. WiFi is disabled and Capture One starts just fine.

    To clarify I use most recent version of Capture One

    What subscription do you have? Paid monthly or yearly?
