Cull Mode Sharpening

Is there any way to apply the same "default" level of sharpening in the Cull Mode?  

I love the idea of the Cull Mode, or Cull Feature, but without having a default level of sharpening applied, it's basically useless.  I have searched and searched for a method of adding sharpening to it  and have found nothing, so I assume there is no way of doing it.

If you add add that default level sharpening to it I would start using it again but, like I mentioned, it's just a useless feature and will remain untouched.
