Is there no Edit History?
I am in the process of learning Capture One in lieu of Lightroom as a primary software. I really enjoy the quality of Capture One and the tools available, it overall feels like a better tool, and the company is more likeable, and less evil than Adobe is. However, while learning the shortcuts and tools, I accidentally reset my edits (ctrl +r ?) and lost almost an hour to the reset and could not ctrl + z/ctrl + y my way back to the original state I wanted it to be. In Lightroom, an accidental key press or a few edits I do not like would not be so destructive because I could always revert to a previous edit state. I looked everywhere for an edit history, but if I understand correctly, there is not one. I am astounded if there is not an edit history, it seems like it is such an obvious feature to have in a photo editing software, I couldn't fathom not having an edit history with my time in Lightroom.
Other than this minor gripe, I really love Capture One so far and want to transition personal and professional work into Capture One, but it seems risky for someone like me to have the potential to fat finger a ctrl + R and click one too many times to lose all the editing time spent perfecting a photo. Is there an edit history I am just not finding? If not, are there any plans for an Edit History function?
Edit: I discovered what had actually happened. When applying a mask, I wanted to delete, so I clicked on the point and pressed "Delete". It rolled over to a second photo that was identical and assumed it was the edits that were lost. I restored the deleted photos. I am surprised deleting does not have a "are you sure?" prompt. That said, I still wish there was an edit history.

You're right that there is not an edit history, although it has been requested by users quite often. You could consider putting in a feature request for it.
If you are worried about hitting Ctrl-R by mistake, you could edit the keyboard shortcuts to remove that shortcut. (You could still reset an image with the toolbar button, or from the Adjustments menu.)
