Epson P900 Printing Problems
Epson P900. For a year and a half (ticket is still open), CO does NOT pass profiles to printer. It is obvious, especially comparing printing with any other app, even Preview. The CO / Epson dialog box fails when selecting ColorSync or Epson Controls (NEVER hit Cancel!). Neither work, and it can crash CO. NO OTHER APP I have, from Preview to PS does this. It also fails on two computers, including one with a clean CO install.
I have to export files as tif's at 350 MB per file. Then use another app to manage them (LR). Sure, CO can manage them, but I CAN"T PRINT FROM IT! Duh. I am now having a crisis- speed edit keys versus printing. Should I just stay in LR / PS? My best hope is somehow it's me, but all the other apps say otherwise.
Support tells me it's not worth CO devoting the time to fix it.
Anyone else seeing the problem? Anyone else still printing?

By your reference to ColorSync or Epson Controls I assume you are on macOS. Please open a support case. Epson printing has been an issue for a while. It is a known issue.

I have had an open ticket for a year and a half. I have posted to that ticket periodically (still open) for some time with screen shots and videos of the problem, including crash logs. The apparent final answer from support is that it's not a high enough priority to assign resources. And CO does not have a P900 in house. I have maintained for sometime that you don't need the printer, just the driver. I can disconnect my printer and the CO dialog fails every time the same way.
Simply compare the dialog Printer Options - color management between Preview and CO and the problem is obvious.

I have an Epson 3000, not the P900. Found Capture One's print capability lacking. QImage One worked great. May be an alternative for you. Note: I've gone back to LightRoom / Photoshop since it better met my needs.
