You should be able to deactivate this within the app. Look for License under one of the menus. Once deactivated the app will quit. When it restarts it should ask you for a license key during the activation process. Make sure you do NOT select "Trial" during that process.

    Hi Walter,

    thanks for your quick answer!

The problem is the following: In my account I navigate to my plan (Perpetual license CO Pro), and go to the download button, CO Studio is downloaded and not CO Pro....

I know, I shouldn´t use "trial" , but when the wrong version is installed, what can I do????

    Thanks for your kind helpß,

    Andreas

You will notice on that download page that is says you download the installer and use your license key to activate ONE of these products. There is only one installer. The license key determines what product is activated.

    • Capture One Pro
    • Capture One Studio
    • All in One bundle
    • Studio for Enterprise and for Teams
    • FUJIFILM RAW Converter

What product did you purchase? On your Capture One account page there is a Plans & Services tile. Click that to see what you purchased.

    Hi Walter,

the problem is solved.... I deactivated the license key for the installed CO Studio (which I didn´t want to install) restarted the computer and then CO Studio, then I was asked to activate the license key, I put in the key (second of 3 installations) and it wiorked.... CO Studio icon then switched to CO Pro starting icon....

Very strange and confusing, maybe this is a download bug (wrong version is downloaded defenitley). Could be interesting for for the company...

Hope you got, what I want to explain!

Thanks again for your quick help!

    Andreas

This is not a download issue. There is literally only one app installer and installs the same stuff regardless of your license key. The license key dictates what features are enabled and what it calls itself.
