Thoughts on the GPU accelerated AI tool

In our studios we recently updated C1 to the latest version with the GPU accelerated AI brush tool.  Everyone's thoughts are pretty mixed but in the end we've noticed that our editing workflow has slowed down even thought the tool is faster.  This has been due issues with getting the tool to select what we want.  The updated tool is much worse at selecting individual items within the subject of an image.  It constantly tries to select the entire subject vs individual items.  We now spend lots of time moving the cursor around the subject hoping to find a tiny spot where it will select the item we want or we we are having to draw rectangles all over the place trying to add the item to the selection.  Prior to the update the AI tool was much better at separating out items within the image.  Our biggest use case is selecting an article of clothing on a model.  The latest AI brush can struggle to select things that should be so simple like a dark tank top on a light skinned model.  Even though there are crisp edges and highly contrasted items the AI tool wants to select the entire model, clothing and accessories.  I wish the AI tool had some options so that we could adjust it for specific use cases.  I don't mind if it's slower as long as I can get better selections within the subject.

    Submit support case. This is user to user forum. So we can't fix this issue. Make Capture One developers aware of this problem so they can do something about it.
