Incident: Microsoft Network infrastructure issue is affecting some of Capture One services

When: starting at approximately 12:00 UTC on 30 July 2024

What: issues connecting to Microsoft services globally.

State: Microsoft engineering teams are currently working to mitigate impacted workstreams.

Update: as of 16:00 CEST, Capture One engineering team has enabled a local remedy to reduce the impact of the incident on our users, since the resolution expectation is not clear.

Update 2: Microsoft implemented changes, which led to improvement in service availability from approximately 14:10 UTC onwards. They are continuing to monitor to ensure full recovery.

Update 3: Capture One no longer sees timeouts, but some slow requests are still in place.

Update 4:  Microsoft is updating the mitigation approach to minimize the side effects of implemented changes.

Update 5: Microsoft communicates that the vast majority of customers and services are fully mitigated, and they are in the final stages of validating recovery.
