What are the problems you are having with tethering and importing?

Are you on Mac or Windows? What version of MacOS or of Windows?

I am running windows 11 pro, with tethering I could control the camera via software and the images were in the capture folder but thumbnails didn't show up therefore I couldn't edit them. I have used capture one for well over a year and have run a lot of jobs through the program. I started with 22 for Nikon so I am familiar with starting a new session and adding files to an existing session. Now, I can't import files into a new session or add files to a existing session. I think I may have deleted something that I needed when I uninstalled version 22 and I don't know what it was and how I ger it back.

You could consider a fresh installation of Capture One 23. It wouldn't delete your existing work. There should be no reason why it wouldn't run properly on Windows 11.

(I am on Mac, not Windows, so I am not very familiar with some of the Windows features, but on a Mac you have to check that Capture One has been given appropriate permissions to access drives and folders. Is there a thing like that on Windows that you need to check?)
