“Some photos have already been imported” error

I’m using Capture One for iPad v2.5.0. I’m attempting to import photos and I’m getting the error even though the photos haven’t been imported. I select import anyways and it skips all the photos. I only have 52 images in my catalog. I check the file names with no overlap. There are no images in the trash. I don’t know what to do.

  I had a similar problem, skipping files on import.  I was just starting to familiarize myself with the app importing/exporting & deleting files.  This problem came up when I had "0" files in the app.  I solved it by deleting the app which also deletes all the data.  Then download, and reinstalled.  That solved the problem for me.
