    Hi.
I specifically indicated the build of my Capture One PRO version.
Here is the list of supported files and cameras:
    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002718118-Camera-Models-and-RAW-Files-Supported-by-Capture-One
According to this table, Sony A7 IV support should be from version 22 (15.0.0)
Mine is 23 (build 16.1.3.1223) and its a PRO version.
I can't upgrade this version for free, this is the latest one available to me. Newer ones need to be purchased again. But this shouldn't be required, since this version was supposed to support the A7 IV!
Firmware are updated, by the way. Files already on my computer too.

Please ignore the response that I think you were replying to - I think it was a bot-generated spam response, a suspicion strengthened by the fact that it was later edited to include an irrelevant link.

I agree that it looks as though the camera should be supported by your version of Capture One. I don't have an immediate answer why it doesn't work, but I have a few ideas of things you could double-check to make extra certain that they are ok. (Even if you are convinced they are, it's worth checking!)

    • If you look at the About Capture One panel in Capture One (on the Capture One menu on a Mac) does it confirm that you are running the version you think you are? (Is it possible that you are running Capture One from an icon that points to an older version?)
    • If you are on a Mac, can you confirm that Capture One 23 has the necessary permissions in System Settings (Privacy and Security) under the Files and Folders section or the Full Disk Access section?
    • If you create a new empty session (not catalog) and navigate to a folder that has image files from the A7 IV in it, do they show up in the browser in Capture One or not.
    • Does your version of Capture One work satisfactorily with raw files from other cameras? Which cameras?
    • Are you recording the images in the camera on an SD card or on a CF Express Type A card? (I understand those are what this camera can use.) Does it work OK if you use the other card option instead? (I ask because when I first had a camera that used a CF Express type B card, my existing card reader for XQD cards couldn't read them - even though they fitted in the reader and are the same on the outside, they are not the same internally, and I needed a new reader.)
