Capture one does not recognize the Sony Alpha 7siii usb connection.
When I start Capture One, it doesn't recognize that the camera is connected. It doesn't give me any error message, it just doesn't get that there is a camera connected by usb.
I have the camera settings like this:
Settings > USB > USB Connection Mode > Remote Take.
Settings > USB > USB Lun settings > Multi
Network > Remote t. / t. rem. > Remote socket function > Remote socket > Active
Network > Remote connection / remote t. > Sel. in camera and send > Send image size > Original
Network > Comm. connection / Remote control > Sel. on Camera & Send > Send targetRAW+J/H > JPEG and HEIF
Network > Connection / Remote control > Sel. on Camera & Send > Send Target > Proxy only
Network > Remote wired / remote t. > Remote shot setting > Still image save destination > Destination + camera > Destination + camera > Send target > proxy only
Network > Connection / remote t. > Remote shot setting > Saving image size > Original > Original > Destination + camera > Destination + camera > Send target > Proxy only > Proxy only Size > Original
Network > Remote connection > wifi > Connect via wi-fi > deactivated
Network > Wired Lan > IP address setting > automatic > automatic
Network > Network options > Airplane mode > Off
Network > Network Options > Auth. access setting > Disabled
Network > Network Options > Security (IPsec) > Off
I have looked at the official list of compatible cameras for capture one and it is listed there.
I have tried with the 2 usb cables, the one that came with the camera, type C and the one I bought that was compatible with Canon, with the other input. I have also tried different USB ports.
I have left only one card in the camera.
I have even tried to uninstall the Sony program, Imaging Edge, in case it interferes, and nothing. In this program, I do get the thetering, so I understand that the problem is not the cables.
I have updated the camera software to the latest version.
In Capture One, I have tried the latest version, and the previous one, the .3 version.
In Capture One, I have the trial version, I don't know if that can influence.
