    They have taken to putting the release date in the release notes more recently after it was suggested to them - see screenshot - but they used not to do so, so many of the older release notes don't include that information.

    and i do plan to bring back The history of tools and features added to Capture One Pro in some shape or form soon, but can't promise anything at this time, sorry

    Thanks Ian, I noticed that in recent Release Notes, but a lot of "perpetual" users and I are interested in the History since Capture One 22, or at least 23.  

    I've spent some minutes to go through all Release Notes and writing the following table. (Unfortunately we can submit only images. Word or excel files are available). 

    I trust that this can short Denis time to bring back the missing dates...

    OK.......  No answer since then.

    However in the meantime someone had been able to produce some numbers and it is clear that "major implementations" classified by the change of the "second number" (16.3 vs 16.4 vs 16.5) are nearer and nearer in time.

    So - also reading the increasing numbers of customers unsatisfied by the above trend occurred after Loyalty program started - I would like to go on with my main consideration.

    It is fairly evident that "perpetual" customers (that mainly are not professionals, and must look at costs), are kept out of the play: if they like having some sort of update they need to buy a fully new program and, even if unpredictably, very frequently, the cost is hugely higher than Adobe....  why?   is it not sufficient to pay some more than Adobe?  …and mainly: the Loyalty program couldn't be slightly changed to stop all that amount of negative comment from a lot of "perpetual" users?

    Then, to give more chance to those likes "perpetual" versions, I allow myself to propose "a little change to remove a main problem"  that is - it is obvious - the unpredictability of the number of new revisions that are included in the purchase, or more properly how short can be the period of time during which the purchased version remains updated.

    My proposal is to replace the trigger for the need to buy a fully new revision  from the "number of the main release" (the one following 16) to a definite numbers of months. 

    And I propose to rely on what already existing for expensive (and frequently customized) SW that are sold with the first year of maintenance included. After that maintenance and updates are no more supplied, if not separately purchased. And here all of us understood that things must be different. In fact we read that Capture One introduced the LOYALTY PROGRAM to avoid selling separated grades of "updates". OK, after above change in the trigger, all Loyalty Program remains unchanged:  perpetual customers will still have to buy the full program, with 40% off  if they purchase it by the end of the first 12 months, or 20% off  if they buy within 24 months from the previous purchase.

    I trust Capture One could take in due consideration such a proposal and - obviously - generates its own version of a slightly more generous and certainly more defined managing of perpetual users.
