I cannot download pictures from the memory card for editing

  What happens when you try to download? Do you mean the R5 or the R5 Mark II. If it's the mark II, what version of Capture One are you using? The Mark II was supported from Capture One 16.4.5, so if your Capture One version is earlier than that, it won't be able to handle the files.
