There is a notice board post for macOS sequoia that refers to using tccutil to reset capture one's privacy settings so it re-prompts for access to things.

See if this sounds like the issue you are experiencing?

Tethering does not work for my D700 either. Same thing is happening on two Windows computers: COP1 detects the camera, but it never becomes active, i.e. I cannot control the camera from within COP1 nor do images get transferred from the camera to the computer when shooting directly from the camera. Rolling back to my previous version of COP1 (16.3) immediately resolves this issue.

    Eric,

I'm experiencing the same issue with my Leica SL3 on the Mac Studio on Sonoma 14.5. I've found that the only way to get COP to tether is to have no card in camera, connect tether cables, clear the "no card in camera" notice on camera and then start CP1. I'm getting constant drops though and it's insane having to restart the session each time it drops connection. There seams to be an issue with timing as I get the notice on camera that theres no card inserted and you have to clear those out before starting CaptureOne. If you have the program open it always says there's an error on camera because it's busy. Wish you could re-ping the camera after clearing the "no card in camera" notice on the camera. Never had this issue before, but it sucks having such unreliablity once tether and the specific sequence in order to get it to work like any other camera brand. Didn't have these issues with the SL2, or 2S.

    Hi Chris

Thanks for the reply. I have spoken to a number of photographers having the same issue but with other brands particularly Canon. The worst part is there are instances where (even once connected) both capture and the camera are allow you to trigger an exposure but the exposure never comes in! And as I have taken out the card the exposure simply vanishes, it doesn't buffer, it is just gone. I'm not a fashion photographer but this is particularly a problem for them. imagine a number of images shot and you keep shooting and it takes a couple of moments to realise the images are not coming into the computer. It doesn't make you look good as a professional!! I'm going to do some more testing today and open a support case with Capture one. I will let you know how I go.

    Hey Eric,

I've found not so much a solution, but has greatly reduced my issues. Under settings - Capture - Tethering / uncheck "ReTether: fetch images from card when reconnecting via USB" & "Save to camera memory card and Capture One when tethering."

Now I can shoot with or without a card in camera. I've found that having a card in camera and connecting tether cable then open CP1 it now sees the camera and has been pretty rock solid. Before it wouldn't see the camera if a card was in, and all the popup warnings when there wasn't a card in that prevented the camera and cp1 talking to each other correctly. At least this way I know the sequence and it's working fine now.

    Hope that helps!
