Is exporting from C1 Mobile to C1 Desktop problematic for everyone or just me?
I love the C1 mobile app for quick editing and rating while on the road. But I experience problems when moving the pictures from Mobile to the Desktop version of Capture One.
- Method 1 - Cloud Sync
This method is unreliable because I get strange errors. I get duplicate images in the Desktop app (with an added (1) in the name) and the rating and edits do not always transfer correctly. Especially layers. Plus the images in the cloud do not download directly to the destination you choose but first get downloaded to a hidden system folder. This is problematic when you have a computer that is low on harddrive space.
- Method 2 - Export as EIP and import afterwards.
This method also turns out to be unreliable. The problems I get are different every time, but there seems to be some sort of problem 9 out of 10 times I transfer. Today I got a message on the iPad that the 'EIP Package could not be created' for 80% of the images I chose to export. I tried freeing up disk space on the iPad. This didn't help. I solved the problem by filtering out the different ratings and then export in multiple steps. After importing the images in C1 Desktop not all edits and ratings were transfered so that I had to first find and then reedit these images.
Could there be an issue with my C1 Mobile install? Do I need to reinstall the program? Or are many people experiencing problems with the software?
I use a 2022 iPad Pro 12" and a 2021 16 MacBook Pro with an M1 chip.
Sincerely,
Peter

Same issue here. Layers are not found using both Cloud Sync and EIP. Is there any resolution?
