Exporting shoot date and time

Hi,

I'm using Capture One 23 Pro (v 16.2.6.7) and trying to export photos so jpg format so that their IPTC fields contain the shoot date and time. The caveat is that I don't want to include the camera serial number in the metadata of the files.

However, it seems that if I don't select the "Camera metadata" option in the "Export Metadata" tool, I don't get to see the capture date in the exported file.

Is this intentional? Is there any way to get only capture date/time without also adding potentially sensitive camera information (especially serial number) in the metadata of the exported files?

  Thank you for the response. I ended up installing and using ExifTool to remove the camera and lens serial numbers after exporting the Camera metadata from Capture One.
