    Hello Lia,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you had with the tether function in Capture One Pro after the update. It sounds incredibly frustrating to spend so much time troubleshooting without any clear guidance from the software itself.

You're absolutely right; a simple note in the dialog explaining the necessity of granting full disk access would have saved a lot of time and effort. It's definitely a point that Capture One should consider addressing in future updates.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's valuable feedback that could help improve the user experience for others as well. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,

I think these settings are important not only for Capture One but for other apps too. Other apps such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Affinity Photo, etc, may need it too. I certainly have equivalent settings in my System settings for those apps.

However, the idea of a more informative dialog box is a good one. You could consider making a feature request for it.

However, I'm not sure whether the dialog box is generated by Capture One itself, or whether it's generated by MacOS when it detects that an app may require permissions to be granted or denied.
