Updating to Capture One Pro 16.5.1.14 and Remote Access request...if trouble tethering please read!

I just spend 6 hours over two days trying to figure out WHY the tether function did not work all of a sudden in Capture One Pro after the update.
I ended up tested everything: USBs, my Sony cameras (firmware), cables, IOSs, downloading new versions of Capture One, restarting and updating to latest version of MAC OS, nothing! Strangely everything worked on my Apple desktop (same everything) but not on my Macbook which I used exclusively for studio shooting. Turned out the Remote Access request from Capture One needed to be reset via terminal command and then in system privacy settings. WHAT!!
Why o why Capture One when that little dialog comes up when initially starting the new version do you not explain what that dialog means for tethering? A little note in the dialog saying if you don't allow full disk access your ability to tether is disabled and the program will not be able to see the camera???
I don't know anything about coding but why are these settings important for Capture One? I am surely not the only one hitting this snag.

I think these settings are important not only for Capture One but for other apps too. Other apps such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Affinity Photo, etc, may need it too. I certainly have equivalent settings in my System settings for those apps.
However, the idea of a more informative dialog box is a good one. You could consider making a feature request for it.

However, I'm not sure whether the dialog box is generated by Capture One itself, or whether it's generated by MacOS when it detects that an app may require permissions to be granted or denied.
