If this is what I think it is, then this is a compatibility issue with outdated libraries.

Search the forums for Microsoft C++ and .NET Core. Some have found that there are multiple incompatible versions of libraries on their system that cause this. In their posts users provide a way via Microsoft System Settings to do maintenance on these libraries to repair their system and stop these crashes.

    Thank you very much Walter.
I'm going to look for what version of C++ I have and I'll check where you told me.
I'm very tired of this happening to me, especially because there are catalogs of photos of my family that I can't open anymore because of this.

See if this post helps .. it discusses the issue some have seen and the fix with the Microsoft redistributable libraries.

    I managed to fix it.
I have removed all the c++ and runtime installations that were there but the problem still persists.
I have done what I have always done for ages, rebooted in safe mode and opened the program.
    No errors.
Then I have disabled hardware acceleration in both visualization and processing and everything worked.
Catalog and old sessions that I had updated before the crash.
I have rebooted and opened capture one again and without problems.
I have opened an old session and without problems.
I have re-enabled hardware acceleration only in processing and without problems.
I do not want to try to enable it again in visualization, I do not want it to break again.

Thank you for your attention and quick response.

We still have the same problems.
    Now I keep removing things.
It seems that Capture One 23 Version 16.2 is screwed up by the NVIDIA RTX Studio 566.14 drivers.
And since I also work with Davinci Resolve, it's great to have to keep removing and downgrading.

Honestly, I don't understand why older versions of programs that we pay for for life stop working correctly because of things like this.

@... .. it is unreasonable to believe that something is forever compatible into the future the software make cannot predict.
